ExoCall Help

WhatsApp Integration

A caller asks for pricing details — and before they hang up, the brochure is in their WhatsApp. The AI sends messages mid-call through your existing WhatsApp provider, so the follow-up happens while attention is highest.

Setting it up

  1. 1

    Pick your provider

In Settings → WhatsApp Integration, choose the provider your business WhatsApp already runs on: Meta (WhatsApp Cloud API), Interakt, AiSensy, WATI, or Twilio.

  2. 2

    Paste the provider credentials

Each provider shows its own fields — typically an API key plus the sender details from your provider dashboard. These stay on your account and are used only to send the messages your agent composes.

  3. 3

Optionally set a template and message hint

If your provider requires approved templates, enter the Template Name. Use the Message Hint to tell the AI what every message should include — a link, a price list, your address.

  4. 4

Save and test on a call

Call your number and say "send me the details on WhatsApp". The agent sends the message during the call and confirms out loud. Check the message arrived, then you're done.

Never unsolicited

The auto-injected rules (visible in Settings) instruct the agent to send WhatsApp only when the customer explicitly asks. This keeps you compliant with WhatsApp business policy and keeps your number's quality rating healthy.

Common questions

Which WhatsApp providers does ExoCall support?

Five: Meta WhatsApp Cloud API (direct), Interakt, AiSensy, WATI, and Twilio. Use whichever already runs your business WhatsApp — ExoCall plugs into your existing provider account with its API credentials; it does not create a new WhatsApp number.

When does the AI send a WhatsApp message?

Only when the customer asks for something on WhatsApp — "details WhatsApp kar do", "send me the brochure". The system-managed rules forbid unsolicited sends. The message is short plain text (under 400 characters), sent while the customer is still on the call, and the agent confirms out loud whether it went through.

What are the Template Name and Message Hint fields?

Providers like Interakt/AiSensy/WATI require pre-approved templates for business-initiated messages — Template Name tells ExoCall which one to use. Message Hint is guidance for the AI about what to include (e.g. "always include the fee PDF link exo.link/fees") so every sent message carries what matters to you.

Is WhatsApp required for ExoCall to work?

No — it is optional. Without it, the agent simply won't offer WhatsApp; everything else (calls, analysis, campaigns, callbacks) works normally. When configured, the follow-up drafts in Call Logs pair naturally with it.
